The nearest underground station is Kaisermühlen - Vienna International Centre of the U1, which is where the photo above was taken from. To get to the entrance follow the green line (marked 'Fußweg') in the overview map (below).



After entering Tech Gate, walk past the reception desk and follow the signs to the tower elevators on the left side (behind the turnstiles). Don't use the elevators to the right (before reception desk). These lead up the 'Tech Gate', not the 'Tech Gate Tower'. The meeting venue is located on the 5th floor.

Arrival

By Plane

From Vienna's Wien-Schwechat airport, the city centre of Vienna can be reached using public transport by train or by bus.

  • The City Airport Train (10 Euro, 16 min) and the slower suburban trains (line S7) connect the airport and Wien-Mitte subway station.
  • The Airport Bus (7 Euro one way, 12 Euro round-trip) connects the airport and various locations in the city centre. There is also a bus directly to the Kaisermühlen VIC station (directly in front of the Hotel Kaiserwasser, on one side of the street, and the AIT TechGate offices, on the other side of the street). This bus leaves at ten past the hour from 07:10 to 20:10 and takes just 30 minutes from the airport. To the airport, the bus leaves across the street from the hotel, also at ten past the hour.


By Public Transportation

Tech Gate Tower is easily reachable via Subway line U1, station Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Center, exit Schüttaustraße. After crossing the street, pass by the copy shop, TechGate Tower is the building on your left.
